Getting
Acquainted!
Sherwood School has 92 students from Kindergarten to Grade 5.
Our school is a busy, caring and happy place. Children start focusing
on learning in Kindergarten and the staff and parent community work
together to help meet the learning needs of each child. The small
size of our school is a valuable asset. It allows us to create a
highly personalized and interactive environment in which individual
strengths and talents are identified and nurtured. We believe we
must work together with our parent community to create a positive
future for our students in a rapidly changing world.
Our
catchment area goes from Prince Rupert in the north to Nottingham
in the south, Gateway Road in the west to London Avenue in the east.
We also are the catchment area for homes in the Almey/Ravelston
area. Children who live on these streets are bused daily to school
and are a very important part of our school population.
